About me:

A woman helping a young boy learn to ride an adapted bicycle on a grassy outdoor area.

I am a Paediatric OT who has been working with children with predominantly neurological conditions since beginning my OT career. I have worked for non-for-profit organisations as a Key Worker, as an OT in mainstream schools and as a Teaching Associate in the undergraduate OT course at Monash University. I have also spent the last 4 years within the Victorian Paediatric Rehab Service (VPRS) and in an Infant Assessment clinic at a busy metro hospital. These roles have given me a rounded experience and allow me to provide evidence based OT to children in their communities as a mobile therapist.

To assist me in my role, I have further training in;

  • Modified CIMT and Bimanual therapy

  • Mini Assisting Hand Assessment (mini AHA), Assisting Hand Assessment (AHA) and Hand Assessment for Infants (HAI)

  • Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination (HINE)

  • Learn to Play play therapy

  • Complex equipment prescription

  • Basic home modifications

  • Toilet training

  • Trauma informed care and parenting support
